An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to surgical specialties at University Hospital Crosshouse within NHS Ayrshire & Arran.
This role focuses on delivering specialized clinical pharmacy services to pre-operative assessment clinics and involves working within the Intensive Care Unit and surgical wards. The post requires close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and developing pharmacy services in these areas to utilize the team’s skills effectively.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to contribute to the transformation of Clinical Pharmacy Services. Support for developing practice prescribing certificates will be provided.
You will participate in weekend, public holiday, and extended hours rotas as required. The base site for public holiday and weekend work will be UHC. Flexibility for working over 7 days or extended hours may be necessary.
