Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director for Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation to lead a large, complex directorate and set professional standards across the Trust.

The role provides strategic and clinical leadership for pharmacists, technicians and the wider pharmacy workforce, with accountability for medicines optimisation, governance, safety and service development across multiple sites in South East London.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Services within the Trust, ensuring services are progressive, responsive to demand, patient-focused and well-led.
• Hold ultimate professional and corporate accountability for the quality, safety, performance and sustainability of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation services across all Clinical Groups and cross-cutting portfolios.
