NHS Forth Valley Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist on a 12-month secondment to cover the COVID Ultra High Risk Pathway. The post includes specialist clinical assessment, prescribing and supporting medicines governance across acute services.
The role requires strong clinical leadership, independent prescribing (or progression towards it) and experience in advanced clinical pharmacy. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and service delivery.
An exciting opportunity for a 12-month secondment/fixed-term post has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join NHS Forth Valley Pharmacy Services in a unique senior role spanning the COVID Ultra High Risk Pathway and wider Acute Clinical Pharmacy Services.
The post holder will provide cover for the pharmacist-led COVID Ultra High Risk Pathway, delivering specialist clinical assessment, prescribing and treatment advice for high-risk patients. Alongside this, the post holder will support wider acute clinical pharmacy services and medicines governance initiatives, contributing to service delivery, quality improvement and patient safety across NHS Forth Valley.
