South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for Cancer and Palliative Care to provide day-to-day leadership of Cancer Services at QEH.

You will coordinate a proactive, patient-focused clinical pharmacy service across Surgery, Cancer, Oncology and Palliative Care, support budget management, supervise junior pharmacists and contribute to safe, cost-effective medicines use across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Lead the day-to-day management of Cancer Services at QEH.
• Coordinate delivery of a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service across Surgery and Cancer division.
• Support technical services developments and budget management for Oncology and Palliative Care.
• Provide training and supervision to junior pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists.

Responsabilités

• Lead training for cancer and palliative care pharmacists.
• Develop chemotherapy proformas for Mosaiq and pre-printed prescriptions.
• Support clinical verification of chemotherapy prescriptions.
• Liaise with primary care to address medication issues across care interfaces.
• Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist for Cancer Services & Palliative Care.
• Supervise ward dispensing and medicines reconciliation to ensure safety.
