Qualifications

  • Extensive experience of postgraduate research administration in a university setting.
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Power BI, student management systems).
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication at all levels.
  • Experience of direct line management or leading a team.
  • Experience handling multiple, complex budgets with strong numeracy.
  • Able to think strategically and improve processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Independent with a proactive approach and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the NMES PGR Support team and oversee the studentship budget.
  • Represent NMES on College-wide PGR boards, committees or task groups.
  • Ensure compliance with the Research Concordat and manage reporting tools.
  • Develop new initiatives in line with faculty strategy and King's Strategy 2030.
