Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Pet Food Nutritionist to lead the development of nutritionally balanced, high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of pets and their owners.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead formulation and development of pet food products, balancing nutrition, quality, and cost.
  • Conduct nutritional analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Marketing, and Technical teams.
  • Support customer enquiries, product specs, and marketing materials.
  • Stay ahead of trends and contribute to research and innovation.
  • Assist with export documentation and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Proven experience in pet food manufacturing and formulation.
  • Strong understanding of pet nutrition and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in formulation software and Microsoft Office.
  • Full driving license.
Contract and Schedule
  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Monday - Friday
  • 0800 - 1600
  • 8 hour shifts
