Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a Personal Tax and Trust Senior to join their Newton Abbot team. You will prepare Personal, Trust and Estate Tax Returns and year-end trust accounts, with potential advisory work as you progress. You should hold ATT/CTA/TEP qualifications or be studying, with experience in an accounting or tax-focused firm.

The role offers flexitime, flexible working and excellent benefits, with a salary in the £35,000–£46,000 range plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Personal Tax, Trust and Estate tax returns and year-end trust accounts.
• Ability to prepare self-assessment computations and liaise with HMRC.
• Proven client service skills and ability to develop advisory work over time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer Personal, Trust and Estate Tax Returns and trust year end accounts.
• Deliver a high-quality compliance service and manage a portfolio of tax/trust cases.
• Prepare IHT100 and IHT418 and SA900 returns where needed.
• Potential involvement in planning projects and advisory work as you progress.
