Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Personal Tax Senior to manage a dedicated client portfolio in Southampton, primarily office-based with flexibility. The role focuses on high-net-worth individuals, directors and sole traders, with opportunities for progression and professional development.

You will prepare self-assessment returns, review filings, and participate in CGT computations and bespoke planning, while liaising with directors and client managers to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in UK personal tax compliance within a recognised accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of self-assessment and CGT, with experience across diverse personal portfolios.
• ATT / CTA qualified, part-qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
• Aim to develop technical skills and progress to Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established client portfolio focused on personal tax for high-net-worth individuals.
• Prepare and review self-assessment returns to meet deadlines.
• Assist with CGT computations and bespoke tax planning projects.
• Act as main contact for clients, directors, and managers.
• Support junior team members and promote a collaborative environment.
