Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a senior clinical psychologist to lead the specialist perinatal mental health service across Cheshire and Merseyside. You will supervise clinical teams, conduct high-quality assessments, and drive governance, research, and policy development within the service.

You will work within a multidisciplinary pathway and collaborate with maternity, primary care, and third sector partners to deliver integrated care and co-produced service improvements.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification and HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience delivering specialist psychological assessments and interventions.
• Ability to lead, supervise and train psychological staff.
• Experience developing policy, service development and audit activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological assessments using diverse sources and tests.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans across Cheshire and Merseyside.
• Lead and supervise psychological services and professionals within the team.
• Contribute to policy development, research, audit and service evaluation.
• Support training, CPD and clinical supervision for staff and trainees.
