Overview

As part of a closely integrated and specialised team, provide comprehensive support to enable the provision of strategic leadership for performance management and improvement across the NHS Board area; in so doing provide the NHS Board with assurance regarding the performance of NHS Forth Valley in line with governance and accountability structures.

The post holder will support the organisation in using appropriate and accurate data to inform and support performance management and improvement, embedding this approach within the organisation by supporting the use of data intelligence in the examination of performance, and the setting of targets and indicators to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

The Senior Performance Manager (Lead Analyst) will play a fundamental role in supporting the ongoing development of the Performance Management Team in its role of effective monitoring and evaluation of performance for the benefit of NHS Forth Valley patients, and in supporting the provision and development of frameworks and specialist advice on performance management and improvement to enable local areas to develop within this sphere.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

Qualifications

The post holder requires to be educated to degree level or to have the equivalent experience within a complex organisation, preferably within the NHS or Public Sector. They must have the ability to develop and maintain effective, positive relationships with key partners and partner organisations; be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be organised and have a responsible approach to work.
