Senior Performance Manager, Amazon Shipping

Amazon shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.

Our team is at the forefront of changing the parcel delivery industry in Europe. In this role, you will have exceptionally strong data skills. You will use these data skills to create custom data through SQL, while using your stakeholder management skills to influence stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead initiatives to optimize delivery speed and order fulfillment performance across logistics operations, driving continuous improvement in customer delivery times and order completion rates.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and analyze end-to-end delivery performance metrics, from order receipt to customer delivery
  2. Track and improve key metrics including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and fulfillment rates
  3. Identify bottlenecks in warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery processes
  4. Develop action plans to reduce delivery times and improve order completion rates
  5. Create performance dashboards and reporting systems for logistics KPIs
  6. Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and delivery teams to implement improvements
  7. Lead root cause analysis for delivery delays and missed targets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics metrics and KPIs
  • Proven track record of implementing delivery performance improvements
  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Highly proficient in SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma or Lean certification
  • Experience with last-mile delivery operations
  • Knowledge of route optimization and carrier management
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of senior stakeholders
  • Relevant work experience in ambiguous environment
  • Experience in managing performance within a shipping service provider.
