Job description

Our client is a leading investment management house. Their high-performing Performance team is now seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

Working closely alongside the Head of Performance, the Senior Performance Analyst will take responsibility for:

• Production, analysis and communication of daily summary performance and risk numbers
• Provide detailed explanations to fund managers on performance and risk numbers
• Ensure that performance queries are investigated appropriately
• Maintain strong and regular contact with fund managers
• Building trust and strong relationships with the fund managers and product specialists
• Identify performance & risk measurement/analysis requirements and determine appropriate solutions to deliver them
• Pro-active analysis and monitoring of performance & risk output to identify issues and sources of success
• Oversight and direction of systems used in the generation or dissemination of daily performance & risk information

The Senior Performance Analyst will meet the following skillset:

• Comes from an Operations background with solid technical skills in performance
• Has ambitions to manage teams in the future
• Fixed Income exposure is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable building relationships across departments, including with Fund Managers
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• 4-6 years’ experience in the investment management industry
