Job description

Our new HRBP operating model puts People Business Partners at the heart of operational planning and transformation -- and you'll be one of the key players leading that shift.

We're recruiting two Senior People Business Partners to join our newly formed HR Business Partnering team. This is your chance to work differently -- not just reactively handling issues, but proactively influencing how our hospital recruits, retains, and develops its people.

We've recently redesigned our People structure to meet the real needs of our staff and services. These posts are a cornerstone of that change -- providing visible, credible HR leadership within clinical and corporate divisions, and driving the people agenda in partnership with senior leaders.

Main duties of the job

Your key responsibilities:

  • Leading workforce strategy and planning in partnership with divisional leaders
  • Supporting cultural improvement, leadership capability, and engagement
  • Using workforce analytics to influence operational decision-making
  • Driving change in retention, talent development, and inclusion
  • Helping managers navigate complex people challenges with confidence

What you bring:

  • Strong HR generalist or business partnering experience in a complex setting
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
  • Confidence in workforce planning, engagement, and organisational change
  • A passion for improving staff experience, culture, and organisational performance

If this sounds like you, apply today and be part of our transformational journey. This is more than a job. It's your opportunity to shape how Newham Hospital supports its people -- and how those people support patients.
