  • Monday - Friday (8.30am-5.00pm)

Are you a strategic, forward-thinking People professional with a passion for driving business performance and colleague engagement? Wynnstay, a leading UK agricultural supplies business, is seeking a Senior People and Culture Business Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering our people strategy and business plan across the organisation.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will partner with leaders and colleagues to deliver exceptional people outcomes. Using data-driven insight and deep understanding of the external environment, you will support all stages of the employee lifecycle – enhancing culture, capability, and colleague experience.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues to enable professional, respected, and effective People and Culture support.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers, helping them embed a people agenda that drives performance and engagement.
  • Champion a high-performance culture where talent is identified, developed, and where underperformance is managed constructively.
  • Challenge team cultures and behaviours to ensure alignment with organisational values.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with internal and external data, insights, and trends to role model People and Culture excellence.
  • Advise on and implement fair, effective People and Culture policies and practices, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and evolving best practice.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning that supports business growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Support inclusive recruitment strategies and effective talent acquisition.
  • Drive succession planning and team development aligned to organisational strategy.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network to bring fresh thinking from across the sector.
  • Work collaboratively with People and Culture colleagues to ensure a unified and continuously improving People & Culture function.

The Person:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent in HRM or Business Management.
  • Experience in a business partnering role within a multi-site or complex environment.
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment legislation and emerging HR trends.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality people data and insight for decision-making.
  • Experience managing restructures, cultural change, and workforce transformation.
  • Results-driven with a strong customer service ethos.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail with sound analytical thinking.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking initiative with sound judgement.
  • Commercially astute with a deep understanding of cultural and strategic business alignment.
  • Collaborative and flexible, with a coaching style adaptable to diverse stakeholders.
  • Adept at facilitating change and embedding sustainable people solutions.
