Job summary

K.A.G. Recruitment Consultancy is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing company in Wrexham to appoint a Senior People Advisor. You will provide senior operational People support to the Head of People & Culture, lead complex ER cases and drive engagement across the site.

Based on site, you will coach managers, deliver training and inductions, produce People KPIs, and ensure compliant practices across shifts. The role offers Monday–Friday hours and a salary of £35,000–£40,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR/People experience across complex ER cases.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Experience delivering training, briefings, workshops and inductions.
• Proven ability to influence managers and improve engagement and culture.
• FMCG or food manufacturing background advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead on significant and complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, and absence.
• Coach managers and deliver practical training and inductions.
• Deliver accurate People KPIs and dashboards across turnover, absence, ER, engagement, and diversity.
• Ensure People processes align with UK law and policy; support manager development programs.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to People Team and ensure consistent lifecycle delivery.
• Support across shifts with flexible hours.
• Drive improvements in engagement and culture measures.
