Senior Pensions Data Technician — Remote Role — Permanent | Full-Time

About the Role

A tier 1 Professional services client is looking for a Senior Pensions Data Technician to join a growing Scheme Events team, where you’ll lead on complex data projects, support cyclical activities, and ensure scheme events are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events.
Collaborate with Scheme Events Leads and Managers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Review and support the work of Pensions Data Technicians.
Build relationships with internal teams and clients.
Continuously improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality frameworks.
Perform bulk data analysis, calculations, and reporting using Excel and internal systems.
Create audit trails and test communications and calculations.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience with Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
Technical pensions calculations and bulk data analysis.
Proficiency in Excel: filters, pivot tables, lookups, IF/nested IF statements, date calculations, data validation, and importing files.
Experience with pension administration systems.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
A-level Maths or equivalent experience in complex data analysis.
