Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Pensions Consultant, Divorce Expert, to specialise in pensions divorce. Work from home with regular client/advisor meetings in London/South East.

You will apply your pensions expertise to help individuals, legal professionals and courts achieve fair settlements. You will analyse DB, DC and public sector pension benefits, prepare sharing calculations and expert reports, and manage a varied caseload while collaborating with lawyers and scheme

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified actuary, or experienced UK pensions consultant.
• Strong knowledge of DB, DC and public sector pension schemes.
• Experience preparing technical reports and pension calculations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and value pension benefits across DB, DC, public sector and State Pension arrangements.
• Prepare pension sharing calculations, expert witness reports and technical recommendations.
• Manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Liaise with family lawyers, pension scheme administrators and other professional parties.
• Contribute to ongoing business growth, technical development, best practice and process improvements.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues.
