Senior Pensions Administrator – DB Schemes

London - £35-45,000 depending on experience – Flexible / Hybrid Working & Excellent Benefits Package.

A leading UK Financial Services Group providing Pension & Investment Consultancy services to many of the UK’s largest companies is looking to expand its Pension Administration Team. The team offers award-winning technical Defined Benefit Administration Services within a friendly and supportive office culture, encouraging contributions and team success.

Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical pensions administration services to clients, including calculating and paying scheme benefits.
  2. Training and mentoring junior staff, supporting their professional development.
  3. Checking and authorizing colleagues’ work.
  4. Applying benefit structures, trust deeds, rules, and legislation.
  5. Supporting the Administration Manager to meet departmental deadlines.
  6. Handling queries from HMRC and DWP, and liaising with clients, scheme actuaries, and third parties.
  7. Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  8. Responding to technical queries from members via phone, email, and letter.
