Job summary

Bruin, a leading pension consultancy in the UK, is recruiting a Senior Pension Administrator to join the team in Birmingham.

You will manage day-to-day administration for a portfolio of Defined Benefit schemes, perform manual calculations, train colleagues, attend meetings, and ensure delivery in line with SLAs. This is a growth-focused role within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Experienced pensions administrator with knowledge of delivering administration services to Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Strong manual calculations experience and attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all work to ensure delivery is of a high standard and in accordance with client Service Level Agreements.
• Process member events within deadlines.
• Peer review and check work to ensure it is of a high standard and compliant with scheme rules and legislation.
• Communicating with members, trustees and other third parties.
• Provide support and share knowledge across the team.
• Attend and present at both internal and external meetings (including Trustee and/or client meetings).
• Keep up to date with any changes impacting your portfolio or schemes.
• Take responsibility for ad hoc projects.

Due to recent client wins a leading Pension Consultancy are looking for Senior Pension Administrator's to join their team.

You will be responsible for the service provided to a portfolio of pension scheme clients that range in size. You will manage all day-to-day activities in relation to your portfolio, as well as supporting the team with their training and development needs.

Key responsibilities will include;
