Bruin is seeking a Senior Pension Administrator to join a growing Pension Consultancy. You will manage a portfolio of pension scheme clients, delivering high‑quality administration and supporting team development.

The role requires experienced pensions administration with Defined Benefit knowledge and strong manual calculation skills, along with the ability to work closely with trustees and clients. Join a growing team at an exciting growth stage.

Qualifications

  • Experience as pensions administrator with Defined Benefit scheme knowledge
  • Strong experience delivering administration services to pension schemes
  • Solid grounding in manual calculations and member data processing

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility to ensure all work meets high standards and client SLAs.
  • Process member events within deadlines.
  • Peer review and check work for scheme compliance.
  • Communicate with members, trustees and third parties.
  • Share knowledge and provide training support to the team.
  • Attend and present at internal and trustee/client meetings.
  • Stay updated on changes affecting portfolios/schemes.
  • Lead ad hoc projects when required.

Job description

Due to recent client wins a leading Pension Consultancy are looking for Senior Pension Administrator's to join their team.

You will be responsible for the service provided to a portfolio of pension scheme clients that range in size. You will manage all day-to-day activities in relation to your portfolio, as well as supporting the team with their training and development needs.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Take responsibility for all work to ensure delivery is of a high standard and is in accordance with client Service Level Agreements.
  • Process member events within deadlines.
  • Peer review and check work to ensure it is of a high standard and compliant with scheme rules and legislation.
  • Communicating with members, trustees and other third parties.
  • Provide support and share knowledge across the team.
  • Attend and present at both internal and external meetings (including Trustee and/or client meetings).
  • Keep up to date with any changes impacting your portfolio or schemes.
  • Take responsibility for ad hoc projects.

To apply for this role you must already be an experienced pensions administrator with relevant experience and knowledge of delivering administration services to Defined Benefit pension schemes as well as strong manual calculations experience
