Job summary

Consult is actively seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Penetration Tester & Cyber Security Consultant to support security testing across cloud, infrastructure, and modern applications in a fully remote capacity for the United Kingdom.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing in AWS/Azure cloud environments, Docker/Kubernetes containerised setups, and CI/CD pipelines, with leadership responsibilities and clear remediation guidance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering penetration testing engagements across complex IT environments.
• Strong hands-on experience testing cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
• Practical experience assessing Docker, Kubernetes and containerised applications.
• Experience testing CI/CD pipelines and related security controls.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, network security and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Experience with web applications, APIs and traditional on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality security assessments and actionable remediation guidance.
• Lead technical assessments and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud configurations.
• Provide mentorship and share expertise to junior team members.
