Senior Penetration Tester / Check scheme CTL/CSTL Consultant

UK Wide - Remote Working - Exciting long-term projects - perm

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing tech firms in the UK at the forefront of a massive growth industry.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will simulate attacks to identify and report security flaws.

You will have the ability to take initiative, learn quickly on the job, and deal with issues as they arise in a high-pressure environment.

You will be an enthusiastic tester with a few years of experience. You'll be passionate about working in the security industry, continuously researching the latest vulnerabilities to stay at the leading edge of industry knowledge.

You should have achieved your CTL/CSTL qualifications, hold SC clearance, and be eligible or hold Check Status certification.

You must be a UK citizen with current SC Clearance

Due to the nature of some work and exposure to sensitive information, SC vetting will be required.

About your role

You will be a highly skilled information security specialist working with government and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engagements for UK and overseas clients, including IT Health Checks under the government CHECK scheme
• Perform peer reviews and write reports
• Support pre-sales activities in scoping and technical inquiries
• Maintain internal database of findings
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Represent Resillion at events and deliver talks/presentations

Required skills

• Current SC Security Clearance
• CTL/CSTL and CRT (preferred) or QTSM certifications
• At least 5 years of industry experience
• Knowledge of industry-standard tools (both commercial and open source)
• Proficiency with Linux and virtualization platforms
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and time management skills
