Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Raymarine in Fareham, UK, seeks a skilled PCB Designer to own the complete PCB design process from schematic through manufacture. You will work with Altium to create complex boards, including HDI, RF, high-speed and flexi designs, coordinating with mechanical for seamless integration and with manufacturers for best practices.

The role requires strong electronics background, excellent communication and a willingness to work on-site with the team in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Altium and HDI PCB design experience.
• Background in electronics and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in Design for Manufacture and collaborating with PCB/assembly manufacturers.
• Experience in EMC, ICT and vibration testing.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete PCB design from schematic to manufacture.
• Create schematic symbols, footprints and 3D models in Altium.
• Design multilayer PCBs including High Speed, High Power, RF and Flexi.
• Coordinate with mechanical designers for Altium-SolidWorks interface.
• Communicate with PCB manufacturers and assemblers for best practices.
• Support the Team Leader and other PCB designers in duties.
• Ensure compliance with Raymarine policies and training.
