Job summary

Cpl Group in Derry/Londonderry is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to join our Finance team. You will ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time, in full compliance with HMRC, and you will manage employee payroll records, statutory payments, pensions, and time and attendance data.

Working closely with HR, Production and Line Management, you will identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiencies across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in high-volume UK payroll processing.
• Experience managing both weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments and payroll deductions.
• Experience using payroll and time & attendance systems, ideally Sage Payroll/Sage Micropay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver payroll accurately and on time, ensuring full HMRC compliance.
• Manage employee payroll records, statutory payments, pensions, time and attendance data, reconciliations and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiencies across the business.
