Your new company


A large manufacturing group is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis with a salary paying up to £50,000. They are looking to add to their finance team where you'll be joining them in an office based near Farnborough working on a Hybrid Model.


Your new role


Your new role will see you reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, where you'll be asked to fulfil various responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Process monthly payroll on-time and accurately, including starters/leavers, sick pay, holiday pay, maternity and paternity, taxes, overtime, pension contributions.
  • Process employee data from the HR system of record to the Payroll System, ensuring employees' earnings and deductions are highly accurate and compliant with tax and legal requirements.

What you'll need to succeed


To succeed, you will need to have at least broad experience working within the payroll function as you’ll be expected to hit the ground running. You will have strong attention to detail, a high level of speed & accuracy, strong communication skills, and a strong hunger to succeed. You’ll ideally have ADVANCED EXCEL. Good knowledge of pension processes, salary sacrifice schemes, and how these are processed through payroll & knowledge of ADP IHCM is ideal.
