About Our Client

Our client is a reputable company within the professional services industry. It values its employees and promotes work-life balance. You will be based from its office just outside Nottingham city centre and will work as part of a team.

Job Description

You will be responsible for processing payrolls for various clients, with varying frequencies (e.g., quarterly, weekly, monthly, 4-weekly). Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing payrolls from start to finish
  • Carrying out manual calculations where necessary
  • Handling payroll queries
  • Processing P45s, P46s, P11Ds
  • Calculating maternity, paternity, and sickness pay
  • Running payroll reports
  • Liaising with HMRC and pension providers
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Preparing year-end returns

The Successful Applicant

Candidates must have:

  • At least 18 months' experience working in payroll (essential)
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory payments (essential)
