This role sits in EY's UK Payroll Operate team and will support the delivery of high quality payroll implementations for new clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ hands-on UK Payroll experience.
• Payroll qualifications e.g., CIPP (preferred).
• Experience of payroll implementations in a high-volume business is essential.
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance including AE, RTI and Apprenticeship Levy.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream processes that impact payroll.

Responsibilities

• Understand client Payroll needs and develop requirements to ensure timely, high-quality implementations.
• Assist with delivery of client implementations to meet target dates.
• Coordinate data migration, parallel and first live runs with client and internal teams.
• Document proposed payroll functionality and draft client procedures.
• Work with service delivery to ensure smooth handover to BAU team.
• Assist with development of bespoke payroll reports, such as general ledger reports.
