Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Employee Services Administrator - Payroll to join our Enterprise Services team at Boscombe Down. The role manages payroll for three payrolls, provides first-line payroll support, and ensures compliance with HMRC and GDPR while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications include payroll experience, UK tax and NI knowledge, and a CIPP certification. The successful candidate will work in a permanent full-time role with a salary of £30-33k DOE.

Qualifications

• Proven payroll experience with UK tax codes and NI knowledge.
• Experience handling HMRC compliance and GDPR in payroll processes.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line payroll support via phone, email, and helpdesk visits.
• Administer payroll for three payroll runs per schedule.
• Process payroll files in line with cut-offs and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, GDPR, and internal policies.
• Liaise with third parties and update internal instructions.
