Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst (Operations) to join the Payroll Services team within the Finance, Corporate Governance and Legal Services directorate. You will interpret and process complex payroll transactions to ensure accurate, on-time payments for NHS Scotland staff across multiple Health Boards.

You will provide specialist payroll guidance to managers and HR colleagues, resolve sensitive queries, and support audit controls while coaching

Qualifikationen

• Experience of payroll in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, NHS terms and conditions, and pension regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with ability to interpret complex information and meet deadlines.

• Interpret, process and quality-check complex payroll, expenses and pension transactions.
• Provide expert payroll advice to managers, HR colleagues and employees; resolve complex queries.
• Support delivery of robust financial and audit controls; contribute to service improvements.
• Coach and develop Payroll Assistants and participate in workforce training.
