Title: Senior Payroll Administrator
Salary: GBP32-37,000
Contract: Permanent
Location: Colchester
Hybrid: 3/2 split after 3 months

A leading practice in Colchester is seeking a talented Senior Payroll Administrator to help deliver comprehensive payroll services to their clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll specialist who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The ideal Senior Payroll Administrator will be CIPP qualified or working toward this qualification, with 2-3 years' experience in a practice setting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness for multiple business clients
  • Maintain strict compliance with current legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Establish strong relationships through regular client communication regarding payments, HMRC liabilities, and personnel changes
  • Perform reconciliations of HMRC liabilities
  • Deliver expert advice on payroll matters to both clients and their employees
  • Assist clients with specialized reporting needs
  • Help establish new PAYE schemes and manage payroll transitions
  • Conduct manual calculations when necessary

  • Proven track record as a Payroll Specialist in a professional services environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll systems, regulations, and best practices
