Job Description:

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to join a successful Professional Services Company located in Central Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive:

Up to £30,000 plus excellent benefits

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining own portfolio of suppliers and customers, ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner via phone and email
  • Processing payroll and invoices in a timely manner as needed
  • Producing weekly payment runs
  • Uploading payments to the bank
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Creating invoices when required and raising sales invoices on a weekly and monthly basis, uploading to the accounting software
  • Ensure customer payments are received and accounted for, notifying credit control of any outstanding payments
  • Support junior members of the team and the wider finance team in the completion of projects and improving processes/inefficiencies

Person Specification:

  • Experience in a similar role with a sound understanding of accounts payable and sales ledger
  • Excellent software skills including Excel
  • Friendly, sociable and keen to be one of the team!
