Job description

Hobson Prior is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Scientist for a 9-month contract. In this role, you will focus on developing and implementing strategies to measure patient experiences, primarily in neurology, with potential involvement in other therapeutic areas. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure patient-centered approaches are integrated throughout the drug development process.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategies to measure patient experiences during drug development.
  • Work closely with study teams and global development teams to ensure these strategies align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with data science and operations teams on clinical outcome assessments, including electronic tools, language validation, and testing processes.
  • Evaluate and develop new tools to better capture patient experiences.
  • Provide expertise in areas such as digital measurement strategies, linguistic validation, and patient engagement.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A postgraduate degree in Public Health, Psychology, or a related field (PhD preferred).
  • Practical experience in creating and applying patient-centered measurement strategies and analyzing patient-centered evidence.
  • Interest or experience in neuromuscular diseases or a willingness to work in this area.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
