About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented pastry chef to bring their Michelin-level expertise to a high-calibre culinary environment, with room for growth and creative exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pastry and dessert dishes in line with Michelin star standards.
- Take responsibility for the pastry section during service, ensuring efficiency and excellence at all times.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to maintain and exceed culinary standards.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in creative development projects, contributing new ideas for menus, tastings, and seasonal concepts.
- Ensure all food preparation meets high-quality and consistency benchmarks.
- Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in Michelin-starred kitchens in a pastry-specific role.
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional eye for detail, presentation, and flavour balance.
- A passion for innovation and creative development in pastry.
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
