About the team

As a Partner Manager Specialist within the global Product Partnerships Team , you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing strategic relationships that fuel business growth. This role is focused, on partnerships within the Card Present, Omni-Channel, and Terminals/Hardware verticals. You will be responsible for managing our most valuable existing partnerships, developing and executing partner strategies, and identifying new partners who can deliver innovative technology and services-expanding our value-added services ecosystem for both existing and prospective merchants. By integrating these capabilities, you will help drive differentiated customer experiences and business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization-including Product, Commercial, Technology, and Operations teams-to deliver seamless, end-to-end partnership solutions that support our strategic objectives and enhance our market leadership

What you'll own

  • Manage an existing book of partners: Hold quarterly business reviews, drive contract renewals, handle partner and business queries, manage stakeholders, monitor performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, oversee issue resolution, and ensure seamless collaboration to deliver mutual value and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Lead and support new partnership opportunities: Identify and prioritize targets, develop business cases, structure deals, negotiate terms and contracts, support product development and go-live, partner onboarding, and work with commercial teams to drive merchant opportunities and maximize partnership impact.
  • Run end-to-end partner relationships: Manage multiple deadlines, prioritize competing demands, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute and optimize partnerships efficiently.
  • Build and maintain executive alignment: Establish and nurture leadership relationships at both global and regional levels with partners, ensuring strategic alignment and advocacy for shared objectives.
  • Develop and execute partner strategy: Analyze internal capabilities and market trends to determine partnership needs, identify and assess potential partners, define partnership models, and continually refine strategic approach to maximize value.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with Product, Commercial, Legal, Go-to-Market, and Strategy teams, ensuring alignment, smooth execution, and ongoing engagement across all business areas involved in partner management and growth.
  • Explore and evaluate new partnership opportunities: Proactively assess the market for additional partners that can enhance our product suite and deliver incremental value to merchants, including leading pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives where appropriate.
  • Champion partner enablement and success: Ensure partners are equipped with the tools, resources, and support needed for successful integration, co-marketing, and joint go-to-market activities, measuring and reporting on partnership performance and outcomes.

What you bring
  • 5-10+ years of financial technology or payments experience in Card Present, with 3+ years of relationship management experience, be that Partner or Customer facing. We won't be accepting applications without Card Present experience.
  • Proven ability to strategically evaluate and optimize existing partnerships by analysing use cases, refining the value proposition, assessing impact on the business case, and identifying tangible business benefits for both short- and long-term success
  • Strong aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of Worldpay as well as client/partner organizations
  • Payments industry experience is strongly preferred but can be substituted with product partnerships experience in tech / fin tech
  • A track record of signing and launching new partnerships with tangible business value and revenue impact
