Job description
Overview

I am currently partnering with one of our longstanding Law Firm clients on the recruitment of a Senior Partnership Accountant. The role will be sitting in the Partnership Accounting team of the firm, reporting to the Senior Partnership Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and process partner payments and prepare individual partner statements.
  • Manage partner capital including annual capital calls, loan finance drawdowns, and capital repayments.
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting for partner remuneration and firm-wide financial planning.
  • Prepare partner journals and reconcile accounts within Elite 3E.
  • Conduct induction and exit meetings with partners to review financials.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Accounting Senior Manager to align processes across US and non-US partners.
  • Support the Global Partnership Tax and Payroll Director and respond to audit/accounting queries.
  • Provide cover for team members during absences and assist during peak periods.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a professional services or accountancy practice.
  • Qualifications: Part or fully qualified accountant (desirable but not essential).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes.
  • Flexibility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
