Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) in London is seeking a senior technical specialist to develop the capabilities of Global System Integrators for cloud and AI success. You will architect enterprise AWS solutions, own the GSI relationship, and lead multi-day workshops and whiteboarding sessions with executive stakeholders.

You will dive deep on AWS services, craft reference architectures, respond to complex inquiries including RFPs, and help partners migrate and modernize customers to AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/engineering/mathematics or related field.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or internet industries.
• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or networks.
• Experience designing or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating to executive stakeholders and clients.
• Experience architecting/operating AWS-based solutions.

• Serve as technical leader and adviser for cloud computing and AI for partners.

In this role, you will develop the technical capabilities of our Global System Integrators (GSIs) so they can be successful in the cloud and AI. Working with these large partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should be just as comfortable talking storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure or continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud and AI strategy with the CIO. If you are a problem solver with a broad technical skills, and have the ability to drive technical initiatives and cloud migration projects with the GSIs you will enjoy this role.

In this technical role, you will architect enterprise-grade Amazon Web Services solutions, own the technical relationship and deliverables for a GSI, develop and execute multi-day workshops, lead white boarding sessions, author white papers and blog posts, and respond to complex technical inquiries including RFPs. You will have the opportunity to dive deep on our Amazon Web Services technologies and will work side by side with some of the top technical talent in the industry. The preferred location for the individual is London .

Key job responsibilities

• Technical leader and trusted adviser in the area of cloud computing and agentic AI for our partners
• Work closely with Partner Development Managers and Specialist teams to drive field level engagements
• Assist global system integrators earn the trust of customers by delivering multi-day technical workshops, hackathon, lead white boarding sessions, executing on Proof of Concepts, and contributing to the construction of performant, scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on AWS
• Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers with GSIs, technical case studies, and enterprise focused blog posts
• Dive deep on AWS Services as you develop reference architectures, presentations, and respond to RFPs
• Exhibit a combination of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep AWS technical skills by jointly designing and developing industry and vertical solutions
• Assist partners define the approach, tools, and end state architecture as they migrate and modernize customers to Amazon Web Services

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
