Job Description

My client, a forward-thinking and innovative wealth management firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their team. As a key member of our Paraplanning function, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals who provide a highly personal service to private clients and families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Paraplanning, with experience in leading and developing teams, managing workflows, and driving business improvement initiatives.

You will also need to have a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent, in-depth knowledge of Paraplanning processes, and understanding of Paraplanning.

This role requires strong leadership and coaching skills, as well as attention to detail, planning and organisation, open communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Managing workflow capacity and weekly team allocation
  • Liaising with the team to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and embedded
  • Driving improvement of the paraplanning process and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Contributing to operational processes and quality improvement initiatives
  • Facilitating training
  • Liaising with Advisers and communicating case updates and required information
  • Liaising with Administration Teams as needed
  • Providing guidance to junior team members and mentoring Junior Paraplanners
