Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning firm.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.
• Experience writing suitability reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, FCA-compliant suitability reports.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection, tax and estate planning.
• Produce cashflow models and retirement planning analysis.
• Research funds, providers and investment platforms.
• Prepare annual review documentation and client meeting packs.
• Liaise with advisers, providers and clients to progress cases efficiently.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with legislative and industry developments.
• Support advisers with complex technical queries and recommendations.
