Armstrong Watson is recruiting a Paraplanner in Kendal to join the Financial Planning team. You will provide technical and advisory support to the Financial Planning Consultants and Assistants, enabling delivery of high-quality financial advice.

The role focuses on research, suitability letters, new business processing, and developing knowledge to strengthen client relationships and comply with standards.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Financial Planning processes and standards.
• A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is the minimum requirement.
• Experience in paraplanning and producing technical research is preferred.
• Excellent communication and client service skills are essential.
• Ability to work under deadlines and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to produce advice for new or existing clients.
• Compile suitability letters based on given advice.
• Process new business workflows and documentation.
• Provide feedback to Financial Planning Consultants on fact finds.
• Support development of colleagues' technical and research knowledge.
• Maintain and expand own technical knowledge.
