Job Description

The Senior Paralegal will be involved in the following responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming inquiries, manage client finances, budgets, and fees for experts.
2. Make calls to clients and third parties on behalf of senior fee earners.
3. Request SAR records from schools and local authorities.
4. Draft court forms, Grounds of Appeal, and client correspondence.
5. Compile bundles, schedules of documents, and working documents for EHCPs.
6. Research, contact, and arrange assessments with experts.
7. Manage post-registration appeal steps and draft instructions for experts.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Senior Paralegal candidate should possess:

• Proven experience in a legal setting, specifically in SEN law.
• Ability to work independently within guidelines and instructions provided by senior fee earners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of customer service proficiency.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in IT, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office.
