Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician in Reading. The role involves repairing accident-damaged vehicles to high standards within a structured 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. DOE carries strong earning potential up to £55,000 with a permanent, full-time contract.

You will work in a professional accident repair environment, using specialist tools and adhering to repair methods and industry standards, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Beater / Panel Technician in a professional bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA Level 3 Vehicle Body Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and commitment to high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged panels and determine repair methods.
• Carry out structural and non-structural body repairs.
• Repair, replace, align and fit vehicle body panels and components.
• Use specialist body repair tools safely and effectively.
• Follow manufacturer repair methods and industry standards.
• Collaborate with MET and Paint Technicians to maintain workflow.
• Complete repairs within timescales while ensuring quality.
