Job summary

Leaders in Care is assisting in recruiting an experienced Senior Palliative Care Nurse for Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire. The role offers up to £45,129 per annum, full-time or part-time hours, and a structured development path including Non-Medical Prescribing training.

The post involves autonomous patient care within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with enhanced pay for unsociable hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active UK NMC registration as an RGN/Adult Nurse.
• Experience in palliative or end-of-life care.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments and develop care plans.
• Manage complex symptoms and end-of-life care needs.
• Provide specialist advice to patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Support telephone triage and clinical inquiries.
• Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Advocate for patients and ensure person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
