Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist focused on Paediatrics to provide specialist assessment and management of feeding, swallowing and communication disorders in inpatients and outpatients at St Mary’s Hospital and QCCH.

You will work within the Acute Paediatric SLT team and Neonatal MDT, supporting VFSS service development and multidisciplinary collaboration while maintaining evidence-based practice and independent caseload management.

Qualifications

• Specialist skills in paediatric dysphagia.
• Ability to work within MDTs and across sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of inpatients with feeding, swallowing and communication disorders.
• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, intervention plans and discharge planning.
• Contribute to audit projects and adhere to local and national guidelines.
• Maintain links with Paediatric and Neonatal MDTs across sites and attend ward rounds/case conferences.
