Job summary

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) for a part-time role (22.5 hours) across North West Kent, including Maidstone, Tonbridge and Malling, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley. Hybrid working patterns apply with a mix of face-to-face and virtual sessions.

The post is suitable for Band 6 experienced staff or Band 5 preceptors seeking development, with possible progression.

Responsibilities

• Help us deliver holistic care for Children’s Disabilities team across 0-19 services.
• Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care linked to prescribed packages or projects.
• Support in supervision and development of staff.
• Act as a member of the Children’s Therapies team to deliver high quality care to service users.
• Carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical interventions to support service outcomes.
• Lead and support junior staff with assessments/reassessments for complex cases across relevant pathways.
