Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust in London seeks an experienced Advanced Paediatric Sleep Physiologist (Band 7) to join the West London Children’s Healthcare team. The role is based primarily at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with cross-site work across WLCH hospitals.

You will lead and develop the paediatric sleep and respiratory physiology service, supervise staff, and provide expert clinical care for infants to adolescents with complex sleep disorders, including long-term

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in physiological sciences or equivalent.
• Post graduate degree (Masters or equivalent) in physiological sciences or equivalent.
• Registered Clinical Scientist (Respiratory and Sleep Physiology).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and provide advanced standard of care to paediatric patients across WLCH.
• Supervise junior staff and support workers within the service.
• Assist the Clinical Lead in planning, coordinating, developing and evaluating the service.
• Act as a resource of specialist advice to the therapy service and other professions.
• Work weekends as required after induction and competency attainment.
