A leading healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Radiographer to join their team. The role includes operating imaging equipment and mentoring junior staff while ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates must have a BSc in Radiography and be HCPC registered. The position offers training in a friendly environment with opportunities for professional development.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and qualified Radiographer to join our dynamic, friendly team, to play a key role in maintaining and improving standards and quality of patient services. It is an exciting time to join our team, with a wide scale equipment replacement program in progress across the Trust.
The post is based at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Oxford Road site and includes training if required and rotation through general X-ray, theatre and mobile imaging, fluoroscopy, CT/MR as necessary.
The post holder will adhere to good practices of radiographic technique and follow the acknowledged safe practices of radiation protection standards and Trust procedure guidance. They will provide high quality radiographic images that will assist in patient diagnosis, treatment and management of care.
The Radiology department is evolving. It is a small and friendly facility offering you the chance to develop skills in all areas of general radiography, with rotation into CT & MRI and opportunities to progress into specialist areas.
You will attend in person for interview due to practical/presentation elements.
