Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 7 Paediatric physiotherapist. You will join a well established team delivering high standards of care across ward, Paediatric Assessment Unit, ED and Neonatal services.

The post emphasises acute respiratory physiotherapy, neonatal care, and leading education for staff, students and carers within a multidisciplinary framework.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist registered with the HCPC.
• Extensive paediatric respiratory care experience.
• Experience in training staff, students and carers.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced assessment of paediatric patients with complex conditions.
• Deputise clinically for senior paediatric colleagues when needed.
• Be professionally responsible for your own practice and care standards.
• Care for children with Cystic Fibrosis and respiratory conditions.
• Take a major clinical role in paediatrics within the division and MDT.
• Participate in service planning and deliver neonatal physiotherapy.
• Lead education of colleagues in hospital and community settings.
