Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Luton is seeking a friendly and innovative physiotherapist to join our Acute Paediatrics team. The post covers inpatient and outpatient work on a rota basis and requires weekend and extended hours as part of a dynamic, supportive department.

You will develop clinical, teaching and supervisory skills, participate in audits and benefit from a strong CPD culture with supervision and career progression within Band 6.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in physiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration with active status.
• Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including recent courses or in-service trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑standard physiotherapy in Acute Paediatrics across wards and clinics.
• Work autonomously as a band 6 practitioner with supervision available from senior staff.
• Supervise and mentor physiotherapy students; contribute to teaching and training sessions.
