Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two full-time Band 6 Children's Occupational Therapists on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our paediatric therapy team.

We welcome applicants who can manage a defined caseload of children with coordination, developmental and physical needs, delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions. The role involves working with families, schools and the MDT to support children's development and independence.

• Manage own specialist caseload.
• To work autonomously within Trust policies and professional practice, maintaining updated records.
• Carry out specialist assessment and treatment of children with complex needs with education and advice for carers.
• Collaborate with families, schools and MDT to support children in achieving their potential.
• Provide education and training to Occupational Therapists and other staff.
