Qualifications

  • Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Paediatric Nurseto join a well-established rehabilitation service in Surrey for children and young people with complex health needs.

Based within one of the on-site houses, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care while supporting the HouseManager with day-to-day team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and oversee complex care (e.g. tracheostomy, gastrostomy, ventilation)
  • Support clinical supervision, appraisals, and rota management
  • Act as a key liaison for families and external professionals
  • Coordinate care to ensure access to education, therapy, and activities
  • Maintain accurate, NMC-compliant clinical records
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (Children’s or Learning Disabilities preferred)
  • Experience in paediatric complex care or SEND settings
  • Confident in leading shifts and mentoring care teams
  • Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care
